AS SEEN IN THE BOSTON GLOBE:
The Leader in Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Law
Lubin & Meyer, the perennial powerhouse, continues to make headlines, obtaining five back-to-back multimillion-dollar jury verdicts totaling more than $75M in just the first five months of the year. At the same time, the firm has settled more medical malpractice and personal injury cases at or above $1M than any other fi rm in the region. Among those results was a record-setting $15M settlement against Boston Children’s Hospital that garnered international attention, raising awareness of sleep study risks and highlighting the need for reforms.
These million-dollar-plus verdicts and settlements assist Lubin & Meyer’s many clients in rebuilding their lives after suffering catastrophic, preventable harm. “We are often an injured victim’s only recourse—a role we take very seriously,” says founding partner and leading patient and safety advocate Andrew C. Meyer Jr., recently named by Boston magazine as one of the “Most Influential Bostonians.”
The coveted list recognizes the leaders and pioneers forging Boston’s future in areas of civic importance. On the heels of this honor, Attorney Meyer was selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly to its inaugural Hall of Fame class, celebrating the Commonwealth’s most outstanding attorneys and judges.
Selected to Super Lawyers for the 20th consecutive year, Attorney Meyer is joined on the list this year by six of the firm’s partners, with four more of the firm’s attorneys honored on the Rising Stars list.
To say Lubin & Meyer dominates plaintiffs’ personal injury law would be an understatement. The firm’s work shines a light on critical issues of patient safety, holds institutions accountable, and drives changes in public safety and the practice of medicine that benefit the people of New England and beyond.
Lubin & Meyer PC represents individuals and families in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
