BOSTON, MA—Five attorneys from Lubin & Meyer were selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2013* in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation.
Andrew C. Meyer, Jr., firm founder, has been selected to Best Lawyers annually since 1995. He received additional recognition in 2011 as "Lawyer of the Year" for medical malpractice law.
Partner Robert H. Higgins has been selected to the list each year since 2008, and Partner William J. Thompson each year since 2010. Partners Adam Satin and Krysia J. Syska are both been selected for the second consecutive year.
Recognized nationally as one of the country’s leading medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury law firms, Lubin & Meyer has obtained more than 600 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million for clients and their families harmed by medical malpractice or other serious injury. The firm obtains more $1 million-plus outcomes than any other firm in the Commonwealth—settling 36 $1 million-plus cases last year alone.
Still, the goal of the firm is to be a passionate advocate for increasing patient and public safety.
"We're proud that our cases have affected the way medicine is practice—and many patients get better medical care as a result of our work," said Attorney Meyer. "That is the real bottom line of what we do."
The firm’s lawyers are licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
