Julie A. (Gielowski) Davis
Julie Davis is a partner at Lubin & Meyer. Julie is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Rhode Island Bar Association.
Julie's practice includes medical malpractice, products liability, professional negligence, and general liability claims.
She is currently a member of the legal team in the historic class-action lawsuit representing 180 women and men against the former Boston rheumatologist, Derrick Todd, MD, accused by his patients of sexual assault and inappropriate medical exams.
She has experience representing clients through all stages of litigation and has participated in several multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts including:
- A $6.8 million verdict for the family of a woman who died from cardiac complications following elective hernia surgery; and
- A $1.6 million verdict in the case of a man who suffered kidney failure and required dialysis for years due to the administration of contrast during a CT scan.
Julie has been selected to the Top Lawyers list in Boston magazine in the area of medical malpractice law in 2022 and 2023. She also has been listed as a Top Rated Medical Malpractice Attorney in Boston by Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2019, and was listed in the Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2021 Top Women Edition published in Boston magazine.
She received her undergraduate degree (magna cum laude) from American University in 2011 and her law degree from Boston College Law School in 2014.
